Inspired by the spatial organization of ancestral longhouses, the plan for the agricultural workers’ residence adopts the concept of communal living, where resting and storage spaces are located along the perimeter while shared spaces, particularly the kitchen, occupy the central area.

The central circulation axis, leading to entrances at both ends of the longitudinal layout, is also a concept derived from the Kanien’kehà:ka tradition. This organizational principle is likewise reflected in the other buildings of the agroculinary centre.

The mass timber structure, a reinterpretation of ancestral construction methods, extends outward, forming a canopy over the terrace.
